How should you store leftover bananas?
Bananas are best kept at room temperature. Keep them out of direct sunlight, away from other fruits, and ideally hang them from a banana holder. Once they are ripe, you can put them in the fridge to stop them going off, when you do this don't worry if the peel gets darker, the fruit inside will still be ok to eat. You can also peel ripe bananas, and freeze them for smoothies or banana nice cream in the future.
